Morning Journey

In the early light, we start our day, getting ready, in our own special way. With sleepy eyes and morning grunts, I cheer you on, with love that fronts.

We walk together, half a mile, to the school bus stop, with every smile. “Have a great day,” I say with cheer, hoping to chase away your morning fear.

On my way back, I walk and run, basking in the rising sun. “Good morning,” I say to those I meet; familiar faces and new ones greet.

Birds sing sweetly, a morning song, as squirrels scurry, all day long. Up and down the trees they go, on fences with their treasures in tow.

A family of ducks, a sight so grand, swimming together, hand in hand. They remind me of our own sweet days, of laughter, love, and playful ways.

The morning dew on grass so green, sparkles like jewels, a serene scene. Butterflies dance in the gentle breeze, flitting among the flowers and trees.

The sky painted in hues of blue, a masterpiece for all to behold. Clouds drift lazily, soft and white, canvas of nature, pure delight.

As I walk, my mind takes flight, planning tasks from morning to night. Ideas bloom, goals take shape, in the quiet morning, my thoughts escape.

With each new day, hope is reborn, in the beauty of the early morn. Embrace the journey, come what may, for brighter tomorrows start today.
